DESCRIPTION: Medium-sized, low maintenance, deciduous tree with a neat habit and dense foliage. Autumn leaves colour to gold in cooler areas.
USES: Excellent screening or specimen tree. Responds well to trimming making it ideal for hedging and pleaching.
POSITION: Prefers a sunny position in well drained soil. Tolerates exposure to frost and periods of dryness.
CARE: Water until established, and mulch well.
PLANTING: Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from container and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground.
