FEATURES: Shiny green leaves edged cream and profuse clusters of small, bright red berries in Winter. Plant a male tree beside a female tree to ensure production of red berries.
CONDITIONS: Suits fertile, moist, well drained soil in sun or shade. Prefers a sheltered position. Tolerates dry periods, wet conditions and light to moderate frosts.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Mulch to retain soil moisture and control weeds. Water well during Summer.
PLANTING IDEAS AND USES: Great feature specimen providing year round interest. Plant in groups to form a hedge or windbreak. Use as a contrast by combing with deciduous trees.
