DESCRIPTION: An outstanding, elegant, upright form that is ideal for group plantings, screens, hedges and specimen planting in gardens and courtyards. Moderate to fast growing it is fastigiate when young, broadening slightly with age to become narrowly conical. Leaves are rich deep green with a rusty-brown backing and densely arranged.

 

Large, creamy-white flowers with a sweet lemon scent form at the branch tips during summer months even on young trees. Bright red seeds in aggregate follicles may be formed in late summer. Moderate to fast growth rate.
