Platanus x acerifolia London Plane Tree

DESCRIPTION: A large and extremely hardy tree featuring mottled bark that peels off during winter. The large green foliage similar to a maple leaf provides an autumn show in colours of gold and brown. A perfect addition as a shade tree to larger gardens or street and park plantings.

TREE CARE: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
