Quercus palustris Pin Oak

DESCRIPTION: A graceful tree with an unusual branching habit of upright upper branches, horizontal middle branches and lower branches pointing down. The beautiful glossy green foliage turns a brilliant scarlet colour in autumn. An excellent shade tree for large gardens, parks and farmland.

TREE CARE: Plant in well drained and worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until the tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after the new growth.
